Crochet Tank Top Class
Taught by Becka Denning of Radiant Beans
When: Thursday, June 13th and June 20th, 6-8pm;
This is a two part class. Students will need to attend both classes.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate: Student should know how to make a chain stitch, single crochet stitch and be familiar with reading crochet patterns and how to measure gauge.
Class Description:
Learn to crochet the Captiva Cami by Murphy Made Crochet.
In this class you will learn how to measure yourself (or be measured) to determine what size to follow on the pattern. We will work on our gauge to find the right hook to make our garment as well. The sample shown was made with Kelbourne Woolens Mojave and a 2.75mm crochet hook, but the hook size recommended for most was 3.25mm.
All stitches used for this pattern will be discussed during the first class to ensure you are able to do them at home before our next meetup. There are a few techniques that may be new to you, including Foundation single crochet. Foundation double crochet , chainless double and chainless treble crochet. Demonstrations will be done in class for any stitches you are unfamiliar with.
