Beginning Colorwork: Stranded Knit Hat

Level: Advanced beginner. Student must be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling and knitting in the round. Hat knitting experience is helpful. You will be required to cast on and knit your hat brim before arriving to class.
Class Description:
Do you want to create pictures in your knitting? Take the leap and add a second color to your knitting! Theressa will cover the basics to get you started on this fun technique. Stranded knitting involves carrying two or more colors of yarn in the same row to create colorful motifs and designs in your knitting. Fair Isle knitting is a well known example of stranded knitting. In this class you'll learn how to follow a colorwork chart, how to carry two colors accross your knitting and get tips on how to keep your colorwork looking neat and even.

Class Policy: This class requires a minimum of 3 students. Notification of cancellation will be sent within 3 days before class start time if minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including shipping of materials are non-refundable. Student cancellations, missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
COVID POLICY: Masks are currently optional in-store. We ask that you please not attend class if you are not feeling well or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 5 days of class time.
